The snow in the parking lot that is. The guy who drives the dumpster truck got out again yesterday to speak to me. A bit irate about not being able to get in to dump the dumpsters because of the way people have been parking in the big lot. It's not like I can be outside twenty-four seven directing people on where and where not to park their cars. Ditto for my boss. Even if we could be out there the silly sods wouldn't listen to us, as the tenants around here do pretty much what they want when when they want when it comes to parking. ( see my posts on dog walkers not picking up after their dogs, or people who wash fecal mater in the laundries washing machines ) Well it's gotten so bad, and the snow has piled up so high in front of the dumpsters ( four foot high, and three feet wide ) That dumping the things is next to impossible. The snow piles I blame our plow jock for, the guy runs the truck too fast and doesn't do the job as he should. In a hurry to finish the job and get on to the next one to earn more cash. Of course the tenants parking too close to the dumpsters doesn't help. It's a winter thing, being in the north east, I'm used to this sort of thing, it happens every year, The guy driving the truck should be as well...but It still can piss you off to no end. Any who, it's gotten to the point now that when speaking to me yesterday he told me he wouldn't be coming back to do the job any more, and that he'd have his supervisor come in to speak with the bosses here. If the supervisor did stop by yesterday I have no idea? I did suggest an idea to my boss when speaking to him on perhaps placing the dumpsters in a different area when I relayed the drivers message. Where the issue now stands I have no clue? I don't fault the driver, hell he's just trying to do his job, and he was very polite about telling me his problems when he was relating them to me. I get it, but then I'm not the boss or the owners. Not much I can do about the situation. On the plus side of my day yesterday, the sun was out and melted off some of snow on the steps ( with the help of oodles of salt ) so no shoveling yesterday. Yeah! The down side is now that salt is being tracked in to all the inside stairwells... Boo! God I hate winter, and it looks like were going to get hit with another storm. The fun never stops. Any who I'm off to shower now....

Relocation of the dumpster may be a reasonable start Might I suggest too you for the boss would be a Memo put out too all tenants about winter time parking ! Also have each tenant sign & return to the office ! Also have the Memo as part of Tenant Lease when NEW Tenants come in !! I lived in an apartment for several years and we would receive Memos numerous times for this , that or some other thing !!!

No parking signs painted right on the dumpsters themselves. Big Bold Letters. Like I said to Cowboy, I'm for towing them as well. Maybe then they'd learn? Have good one sexy!

I'm glad you had a day off of shoveling. Boo on the tracked in salt. What a pain the butt.
