I am a transsexual female combat veteran
I was wounded in combat in the Hindu Kush mountains of Kabul, Afghanistan during the Arab Spring of 2012. The Taliban came damn close to wiping my friends and I for good. Knowing what I do now, what we would see and go through and how messed up we would be when we came home, I would do it all over again without a second thought. Like my transsexuality, it is just who I am. Protect and nurture.
