Do they work? What's the best you've heard or use? Shy guy or aggressive guy going to win? What's the one thing that makes you want to throw a man on a bed/pool table/whatever and let him do anything? Asking for a friend...

 "Hello, how are you?" is a much better opening. I hate pickup lines because they are so canned-sounding. Treat me as a person first. There is no magic arrangement of words from a man I don't know at all that would make me want to rush him to bed ASAP.

 I've learned that women don't like pick up lines because it is obvious that the only reason that men are saying what they are saying is to get in their pants.
