I met my ex at a triathlon. I saw him before the start, putting on his shoes in the transition area, and thought he was really attractive. After the race I looked for him in the refreshments area and maneuvered myself into position to chat with him. One year later - at the same race - I saw him again and talked with him again. He had become single during the intervening year, we exchanged phone numbers, and the rest was history.

That was a smart young man. If I man went to those lengths for my attention, I'd certainly take notice, lol. I met my ex in college, as we waited outside our advisor's office. Later, we were lab partners in a class. As I was the only female, he rescued me from a creepy guy who wanted to be partners by saying we'd already agreed to be partners. Yes, it was a cute thing. We were both dating other people at the time...it was several months before we actually started dating. I wouldn't change it...otherwise I wouldn't have my kids. But... I DO, know. No way I'd redo my kids. I'd be shit in "time travel". You've seen those movies, right? 😮 Yep....
