Watkins Glen Summer Jam '73
Were you at the Watkins Glen Summer Jam in 1973?

This was the first big outdoor concert I remember being at. I was only in my mid teens at the time.
Went with my older sister and some of her friends.

Allman Brothers Band
Grateful Dead
The Band

After that concert I fell in love with the Grateful Dead.

I didn't follow them city to city like many. But when I turned 17, and old enough to drive. I made it a point to see them every time they played in the tri-state area.

Thinking this would be really cool to chat with other Rockers back in the day.

As a member of Gay Threesome Dating I did join a couple of Grateful Dead music groups. But nothing going on. Thought maybe I'd do a blog...

 was at cal jam 3 back in 78 tho..where ted nugent had just got back from african safari and led with cat scratch fever..literally off the plane to the stage..absolutely nothing like live music..

Back in the 70's and early 80's so much good live music was to be seen.
