In the Carriage (2)

Part Two

She allowed him to guide her into the Starbucks across the station, their usual pitstop after the hour-long commute. As he slid into the seat across her cradling two steaming cups of coffee, she treated herself to his visage for the second time of the day. Deep piercing brown eyes arrested her gaze for a moment before her eyes fluttered nervously to his short, jet black hair. His face crinkled as he flashed a bright, disarming smile. He was cute. Really cute. There was a slight shadow of stubble that made him look mysterious and adventurous at the same time. How would that feel on her thighs? She had to drop her face to hide the blush she knew was rising, pretending to blow at her beverage.

They made some small talk, before he coaxed her into removing a two week old notebook from her bag. Lately, he had taken to tutoring her on the nuances of the local language. She had taken language classes in preparation for her posting in this country, but the formal language she had learned there was a far cry from the lingo used in the street. People looked at her funny when she spoke that way, and it was a dead giveaway that she wasn't local. Her fingertips brushed at the pocket rocket as she found her notebook. It was going to be really difficult to concentrate today. She distractedly took some notes and repeated some words, all the while imagining what his voice would be like if he was inside her. Where she needed him right now.

Fifteen minutes passed in a flash, and she watched with regret as he gathered his belongings and left. The chaste goodbye kiss did little to help. She sighed, watching him walk out of sight around the building. Her office would not be open for nearly another hour, but she did have the keys to the ladies' washroom on that level. If she took care of things quickly enough, she might just be done before the janitor came to unlock the office. She finished her lukewarm coffee and left, her mind wandering back to her first encounter with Kyle.
