 Then again, it depends on what version of various stories you want to go by.

There's the song lyric, but people these days don't consider that as actually was what the Dormouse said, and just Grace's way of using cleverly disguised propaganda. After all, it was the late 60s, and the population at large was protesting the Vietnam war. "Feed you head" is one way of saying, "Stay informed: pay attention to what's going on around you and in the world."

There's the Disney version:

… and lastly, an excerpt from the actual story:

.......Thank You Sir,.......You have a Keen Eye, I am a bit of an artist, and I was a sign maker for a long time, although I don’t do it as much as I used to I still pick up the occasional airbrush job here or there if it’s something really interesting,.......During the course of my life I’d swear I’ve put paint to almost Every surface you can image,........I was a bartender for a decade or so somewhere along the line there too and still make the Driest Martini you’ve ever had!..........
