DUCK the dynasty!

I'm kind of surprised by the uproar over Phil's interview. His generation and mine grew up on "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me." I can also remember when aids was described as a plague by god to punish gays and drug users.

For two thousand years or so homosexuals have been ostracized by many and sodomy was a punishable offence only recently removed from the books. If you have an opinion about things for 40 years just because toleration says never mind and embrace it, does that mean your opinion changes? I don't know, I still don't get excited by looking at a book of naked men. Playgirl does not turn me on. Any more, the girls in playboy don't, but some of them look too young and I'm afraid that it is a set up for porn. Give me older looking babes to ogle.

I was actually surprised the show has as much god fearing talk around the supper table and dating morals with the strong audience numbers it has. Besides religious channels, I'm not sure I have seen a show where a character had that much faith in a looong time.

Apparently it is a thin line between love and hate like the song says. For this generation that likes to promote themselves with selfies and texting the smallest details of their life to others, celebrity interviews may be a thing of the past as well as comedic sarcasm that may be insulting to an audience member. A far cry from Bill Cosby's recent show that gave a little history of dirty words at comedy shows and people walking out in disgust.

I fear we are becoming more intolerant of others and more like nature where the strange get killed or at the least ignored even by their parents and left to die alone. Yes, a herd mentality we become.

When will they come for you? All these people saying if only I can prevent/save one, it will be worth the suffering of all, and I dedicate my live to finding other who believe and are willing to help me. Long live all the cults until we hide in our dwellings and say nothing to nobody.

Eccentric is no longer a trait to be tolerated. Long live political correctness and let's keep casting stones.
